Start mapping out your fretboard by learning the fundamentals of the CAGED system.

Level 2. How to connect CAGED (7 days)

Continue building your foundation by connecting CAGED shapes with simple musical lines.

Level 3. CAGED major pentatonic (10 days)

Get started with improvisation and soloing by learning to use the major pentatonic scale through the lens of the CAGED system.

Level 4. Soloing with CAGED
(10 days)

Put your knowledge to work! In this level, you'll jam with Molly to improvise guitar solos over a series of backing tracks.

Level 5. The Major Scale
(10 days)

Learn the major scale through the lens of CAGED. This level will set you up to tackle advanced soloing concepts in Level 6.

Level 6. Soloing With the Major Scale (10 days)

Learn advanced soloing techniques like "playing the changes", soloing through two key centers, and soloing over minor chords.

In this level, you'll start mapping out your fretboard and learn the basics of the CAGED system.

Level 2. How to connect CAGED (7 days)

Next, you'll continue building your CAGED foundation and work on connecting moveable chord shapes across your guitar with simple musical lines.

Level 3. CAGED major pentatonic (10 days)

Here, you'll get started with improvisation and soloing by learning to use the major pentatonic scale through the lens of CAGED.

Level 4. Soloing with CAGED (10 days)

Put your knowledge to work! In this level, you'll jam with Molly and improvise guitar solos over backing tracks created by some of the world's best guitarists.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Molly Miller

Dr. Molly Miller graduated with a Doctorate in Guitar Performance from the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music and currently leads the guitar department at Los Angeles College of Music.

If there's one person you want to learn CAGED from, it's Molly – she's trained hundreds of students to unlock their fretboards using the methods in this Bootcamp.

As a professional guitarist, Molly's resume is top-tier. She has performed, toured, and recorded with the likes of Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Donna Missal, Morgxn, and Kenton Chen. She has also performed at legendary venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Royal Albert Hall, Coachella, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

She also plays in the house band on The Bachelor’s newest ABC primetime show, Listen To Your Heart. When she isn’t on tour, running a collegiate guitar department, or creating in the studio, she fronts her own band, Molly Miller Trio, which has been featured on NPR’s Fresh Air.
